Last week Apple introduced the iPhone 13 series, which, as usual, extends their battery life and misses any detail about their capacity. A weekend filing was shown and revealed the capacity of the batteries and how much they had increased.
The iPhone 13 Pro has the most benefits, and the iPhone 13 Mini is the closest and absoluteest to its predecessor in terms of percentage.
Phone | Wh Rating | Approximate mAh | Increase over 2020 model |
iPhone 13 mini | 9.34 | 2,438 | 9% |
iPhone 13 | 12.41 | 3,240 | 15% |
iPhone 13 Pro | 11.97 | 3,125 | 11% |
iPhone 13 Pro Max | 16.75 | 4,373 | 18.5% |
Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max has the highest percentage increase in its battery capacity. The iPhone 13 Pro Max has approximately 4,373mAh, which is about 18.5% higher than the 2020 model. The iPhone 13 Mini has a battery capacity of approximately 2,438mAh, which is listed as a 9% increase. The iPhone 13 has a 3,240mAh battery (15% increase) while the iPhone 13 Pro comes with 3,125 (11% increase).
Interestingly, the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro this time around have different batteries unlike their predecessors. It's not a big difference, but considering that the Vanilla 13 does not have a 120Hz screen, it can have a significant endurance advantage.
