Xiaomi: new patent, reveals its next - probably - flagship

As is well known, Xiaomi (as well as all the companies in the industry), are constantly patenting some patents related to smartphones and other electronics, hoping that some of them will reach the storefronts after a few years. Some of them manage to come to life, others are left behind to collect… dust on the shelf. Only time will tell what fate awaits the next patent of the company, which recently appeared on the network, with rumors probably talking about the design of one of its next flagship models.
On September 25, 2020, Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software filed a design patent with the Hague International Design System and the Industrial Design Database of the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO). The documentation, which shows a new Xiaomi smartphone, was available on October 15, 2021. A more detailed look at the recent Chinese patent shows a Xiaomi smartphone with rounded corners, full display design on the screen, which also has rounded edges and corners, as well as curved rims on the sides. In this design, the front camera is mounted in the upper left corner.

The main camera is impressive in size, with a large main sensor dominating its upper part. Below we find a smaller sensor and a small lens with a periscope zoom. Completing the set, an LED flash is located at the bottom.
The curved screen and the narrow edges of the screen raise the suspicion that it is a high standard mobile phone. We get a confirmation of this thought when we look at the triple camera in the back. As mentioned above, the triple camera is available in the center of the case, possibly equipped with a 108MP main lens, as Xiaomi often uses. In addition, a relatively small round camera (probably with an extremely wide-angle lens) and a rectangular telescopic zoom camera are visible. Also, a flash is available just below it.
