Concept Design of The Xiaomi 12 Published by Letsgo Digital

At the end of the year, Xiaomi will unveil its flagship flagship series. Xiaomi has announced that it will be removing the "Mi" name. This means that the Xiaomi Mi 12 will arrive as Xiaomi 12. Looking at the previous year, it is clear that the new model will be launched in China later this year. The official introduction often takes place in mid-December. This means that the device will arrive in Europe in February or March.
Even now we do not know much about the official design of Xiaomi 12. However, this did not stop graphic designer Jermaine Smith, the creator of the concept, from creating a Xiaomi 12 concept model. This concept model is based on a patent granted to the company last week for a Xiaomi smartphone with a zoom camera. The video below was also made by Jermaine and was based on this particular phone model.
The round display and corners of this smartphone stand out. The corners are significantly rounded and in 2022 this could be a new trend. A recent tweet from the Ice Universe showed that the Galaxy S22 (Plus) is also getting more rounded corners than its predecessor.
Also, the Xiaomi 12 has thin locks. The edges are not completely symmetrical. The edges of the side screen are very thin but a fair chin is still visible at the bottom. There is a hole in the top left corner to fit the selfie camera according to the patented images.

However, Jermaine is confident that Xiaomi will release another smartphone in the year that brings the selfie camera under the screen. That's why the designer has chosen to give this phone a similar-display-free camera to the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4.
Another design feature that Jermaine has added is buttons and contacts. These do not appear in the patent examples. Even so, when Xiaomi releases this phone it is expected that it will add buttons and contacts.
In the rear, the oversized central camera system is very clear. This module contains a triple camera and the top camera is significantly larger than the other two cameras. The top camera is the main camera and directly below it is a huge angle camera. It also incorporates a periscopic magnifying lens with a rectangular design. The bottom circle is the LED flash.
Xiaomi 12 may be the first mobile phone to use Samsung's new 200MP camera sensor. The other two cameras (ultra-wide angle and periscopic telephoto lens) will be 50MP sensors, according to Chinese Leaker @ DCS. However, it seems that the Xiaomi 12 does not use the 200MP sensor. This smartphone can use a triple 50MP sensor setting.
