The Motorola Edge S was launched in China earlier this year as the first smartphone powered by Snapdragon 870. Later, the phone came out of China as Moto G100. A successor is on the way and is expected to launch next month as the Moto G200.
The first mention of the Moto G200 was on Twitter via famous leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks) who revealed that the phone is codenamed "Yukon." Now, the folks at TechnikNews have revealed more details about the phone. The source reports that the Moto G200 will have an FHD + display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The type of screen is not mentioned, but there is a possibility that it is an OLED panel like the one on the Motorola Edge 20 Pro / Motorola Edge S Pro.
As for the processor, the Moto G200 is powered by a Snapdragon 888, which is paired with 8GB of RAM. On the back, there is a camera module composed of a Samsung S5KHM2 108-megapixel main shooter, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For taking selfies and video calls there is a 16 megapixel front camera. Also, the phone will run Android 11 out of the box
