MIUI code "witnesses" the arrival of Xiaomi 12 Lite and Lite Zoom
In December, Xiaomi is expected to unveil all the Xiaomi 12 series models - among which we look forward to seeing the Xiaomi 12 , Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi 12 Ultra . This series will be one of the first to use Qualcomm's latest flagship processor, the Snapdragon 898 SoC. However, these smartphones will not be the only Xiaomi 12 series devices. A recent report shows that the Xiaomi 12 series will also have mid-range versions (Xiaomi 12 Lite) that we will see in both CN (China) and Global publications.
Today's leak shows that the MIUI code reveals three more mid-range models of the Xiaomi 12 series. These models come with the code names "Munch", "Taoyao" and "Zijin". The code name "Taoyao" corresponds to the Xiaomi 12 Lite while "Zijin" corresponds to the Xiaomi 12 Lite Zoom. These smartphones will come with the Snapdragon 778G chip (SM7325). In addition, they will use a 1080P resolution screen with a high refresh rate of 120Hz, while they will also have a fingerprint sensor below the screen.
From the name, it seems that the 12 Lite Zoom will have some kind of optical zoom function on the camera, but at the moment, there is no other information about the specific models.
According to previous reports, the Xiaomi 12 Lite will not be exclusive to the global market. The company will also release a Chinese version, but this Chinese model will be slightly better. The information wants the Chinese version of the Xiaomi 12 Lite to have better cameras than the world version. However, there are no details about the camera specifications of the models, except that the main camera will have three sensors. In the global version, there will be a set of sensors consisting of main, wide-angle and macro sensors.
The Xiaomi 12 Lite in both versions is expected with a screen that will have a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, while it will wear the Qualcomm SM7325 (Snapdragon 778G) chipset. There is no official release date or pricing for this series at this time. We expect to have more information in the coming weeks.
