Is the flexible Realme GT 2 Fold coming up?
The Chinese comet Realme is enjoying a really enviable rise and is definitely not going to change anything at the set course. And apparently, we can look forward to a few major steps on their part next year. To begin with, they have recently announced plans to enter the premium category of phones and will not be afraid of models with (Chinese) prices in excess of $ 800. But that may be just the tip of the iceberg, because the first design sketches for flexible phones called the Realme GT 2 Fold appeared today . In a similar step, they would enter the high-end completely automatically.
Of course, the design sketch is not official and so far the possibility of a flexible Realme GT 2 Fold has not been discussed anywhere else. Even so, it is an interesting report that definitely deserves attention. The flexible joint looks very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, and the phone should reportedly have a pair of displays as well. The main inner one is labeled 8-inch AMOLED and the outer one is labeled 6.5-inch AMOLED . There is also speculation about a 120 Hz refresh rate for both. The rear dual 50 Mpx + 50 Mpx camera sensor and a shot for a selfie camera can also be seen on the sketch. All without warranty.
But even according to the latest reports, not everything is on the list of ambitious Realme projects. There is also talk of their efforts to integrate a selfie sensor directly under the display, but they still have a lot of work to do there. In any case, their prospects for 2022 are very bold. This is also confirmed by the bosses themselves, who do not hide their ambitions to penetrate the high-end. And given the brand's successful campaign this year, their plans don't even look unrealistic.
