Yesterday, we mentioned that the Black Shark brand is preparing its next gaming phones. Specifically, these are the Black Shark 5 and Black Shark 5 Pro models. We also know that the phones currently have the code names Katyusha and Patriot, where the first is the standard model and the second is the Pro model. And thanks to the tipsters, we also learned that at least one of the phones is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor.
Today we have more information about some parameters of the upcoming gaming machines. They are shared on the Chinese network by a tipster who calls himself the Bald Panda and focused on the standard Black Shark 5. The tipper claims that the phone has an E4 AMOLED display with 1080p resolution. The screen also supports 144 Hz refresh rate and 720 Hz sampling rate. However, the tipper does not mention the diagonal of the display.
The bald panda further states that the standard Black Shark 5 is powered by a Snapdragon 888 Plus processor. It is therefore likely that the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen1 will receive only the Pro model. As for the battery capacity of the standard version, we could supposedly count on 4600 mAh. The battery will not be deprived of the support of fast charging with a power of 120 W. This is therefore a slightly higher power than the Digital Chat Station tipper expected yesterday. We'll see which of the tipsters hit black. But if we compare these parameters with the specifications of last year's Black Shark 4S Pro, we must say that they are quite similar. So let's wait and see what the manufacturer does.
