OPPO Pad Air launched in China
Oppo from the region entered the tablet segment this year and introduced its historically first Oppo Pad tablet. In a relatively short time, Oppo also introduced its second tablet called Oppo Pad Air. He made his debut yesterday with Reno 8 phones . The new tablet has the parameters of a middle class, it is slim and relatively light, and in fact its price is not exorbitant.
OPPO PAD AIR TABLET DESIGN AND DISPLAY
As part of the design of the Oppo Pad Air tablet, the manufacturer drew inspiration from the Apple iPad Air tablet. The frames around the screen are slightly wider but symmetrical. The body is metal and there is a vertical belt with a fine texture on the back panel. There is one camera sensor in this belt. The thickness of the tablet is 6.94 mm and the weight reached 440 grams.
The LCD screen has a diagonal of 10.36 inches, a resolution of 2000 × 1200 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The screen softness is 225 ppi and the brightness is 360 nits. The usable display area is 83.5% and there is support for 71% NTSC color gamut and 10 bit colors. The manufacturer also claims that the screen is characterized by low blue light.
OTHER PARAMETERS
The Oppo Pad Air tablet is powered by a Snapdragon 680 processor, which is built on 6nm manufacturing technology and has Adreno 610 graphics. With a chipset, the pair comes with 4/6 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of internal storage. There is also an SD card slot, so the internal memory can be further expanded by up to 512 GB. The battery has a capacity of 7100 mAh and supports fast charging with a power of 18 W. Connectivity is represented by Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.1 and USB-C. The operating system is Android 12 with the ColorOS 12 extension for tablets. The manufacturer also added four speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The rear camera has 8 MPix and an aperture of f / 2.0. The front camera has 5 MPix and an aperture of f / 2.2. Along with the Oppo tablet, it also introduced accessories in the form of a stylus and a case with a magnetic keyboard.
PRICES AND AVAILABILITY
The Oppo Pad Air tablet goes to the Chinese market in Fog Gray and Star Silver. Pre-orders are already running, sales will begin on May 31. The stylus comes in at 299 yuan ($ 45) and the keyboard case at 349 yuan ($ 53). The prices of individual memory versions of the tablet are as follows:
- 4GB / 64GB - 1,299 yuan ($ 196)
- 4GB / 128GB - 1,499 yuan ($ 226)
- 6 GB / 128 GB - 1,699 yuan ($ 256)
