Samsung Galaxy S21 FE debuts in India with Snapdragon 888
Probably many of us are waiting for the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE. Tippers estimate that the manufacturer will present it in some selected markets this month . Therefore, it is a bit of a surprise that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE with the Snapdragon 888 processor has quietly appeared on the official website of Samsung India , where it is already on sale. This surprise is perhaps due to the fact that the same phone went to the Indian market last year, but with an Exynos 2100 processor. In other markets, it debuted with the Snapdragon 888.
SPECIFICATIONS AND PRICES OF THE SAMSUNG GALAXY S21 FE
Given that the design and parameters of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE just mentioned are the same as the model with the Exynos 2100 processor, we will first look at the prices. Only one memory configuration is going to the Indian market, namely the one with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. However, users can choose from several color variants, namely Olive, Graphite, Lavender, White and the new Navy Blue color. Samsung has set the price at 49,999 Indian rupees, which is roughly $605.
For the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, the only change is the Snapdragon 888 processor. So even the newly introduced model has a flat 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. The battery has a capacity of 4500 mAh and supports 25 W wired charging and 15 W wireless charging.
Connectivity is represented by 5G SA/NSA, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, GLONASS, USB 3.1 and NFC. The fingerprint sensor is integrated into the screen and there is also resistance according to IP68 certification. The listing on the sales pages does not mention the version of the operating system and the One UI superstructure. In the photo equipment, we again find a front 32 MP camera with an improved mode for night photography. The main camera has two 12 MP sensors and one 8 MP sensor. The second sensor works as a wide-angle lens with a field of view of 123°. The last sensor is a telephoto lens with PDAF, OIS, triple optical zoom and triple spatial zoom.
