Introducing MediaTek's latest mid-range mobile chipset, the Dimensity 6100+. Today, the company officially unveils this chipset, which is reminiscent of the AMD Athlon XP for those familiar with tech history. The Dimensity 6100+ focuses on Sub-6 5G connectivity, without support for mmWave.

Under the hood, this chipset boasts a CPU comprising two powerful Cortex-A76 cores and six efficient Cortex-A55 cores. One of the standout features is its compatibility with 10-bit 90 Hz or 120 Hz displays, providing a smooth and visually immersive experience. Additionally, it supports "AI-powered cameras" capable of handling up to 108 MP sensors, along with "2K" 30fps video capture.
