Xiaomi confirms Mi Mix 4 will launch on August 10

Xiaomi has officially confirmed this morning that the Mi Mix 4 will launch in China on August 10th. The company also released a teaser on its Weibo page with the saving date. The event will take place next Tuesday and local time. Will be held at 7.30 p.m.

Unfortunately, the teaser does not include any photos in the hardware. Recent TENAA filings revealed that the device comes with model number 2106118C and comes with 8 / 12GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.

The rear side of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 will be equipped with quad camera system. It will feature a main camera of 108-megapixel primary lens, a 16-megapixel superwide lens, a 12-megapixel lens and a periscope lens. The leak has no information on the front camera of the phone. The other features of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 mentioned in the leak include 3.5mm audio jack and NFC support. The leak also states that it will continue to flaunt a ceramic body. There is no concrete backing for the above leak. Hence, it is recommended to digest it with a grain of salt.

In related news, a video posted by Digital Chat Station on Weibo shows the alleged display panel for the Xiaomi Mi MIx 4. The panel is fully illuminated just before it turns off, revealing the punch-hole cutout where the selfie camera will be able to see out of.

Last week Xiaomi PR confirmed that the Mi Mix 4 will come out of the box with MIUI 12.5. The phone can be powered by a Snapdragon 888 chipset and can support a 120 watt charge. Meanwhile, the front camera of the Mi Mix 4 can be hidden behind the screen. Leaked exposure reveals that there is a screen on the back of the phone near the quad camera setting.
