Xiaomi Introduced MIUI Pure Mode

Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone giant, is working on making changes to its custom UI, MIUI, to make it easier to use and richer in features. If you did not know, MIUI is Xiaomi's operating system based on Android.

The company recently introduced two new updates to MIUI, the enhanced version of MIUI 12.5 and MIUI 12.5, which will be launched on August 13 for selected devices in the China region, with the first batch planned to be completed. August 27.

One of the unique additions that the IT company has discovered is the MIUI cleaner model, for which the company has started recruiting inspectors from the Chinese region. This feature helps protect users from malicious and malicious applications.

Xiaomi says that since Android is quite open in comparison to say iOS, users are vulnerable to become victims of attacks via badly behaving applications.

The smartphone giant says that about 40% of the apps installed by MIUI users fail the company's security audit and are 10% vulnerable.

To address this issue, Xiaomi has launched MIUI Clean Mode, which blocks users from installing applications through external sources and blocks any kind of installation that takes place without the user's consent as a background process.

Of note, unlike the Cupertino giant Apple, Xiaomi allows its users to deactivate their feature if they want to install apps through other sources.

At the moment, we do not know when this feature will be available for permanent buildings from the company, and we do not know what will be available internationally.

In other news, the company plans to upgrade MII 12.5 for the following devices throughout the last quarter of the year. So, the mentioned devices will get the next version of Android skin between October and December.
1. Xiaomi Mi 11, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11i
2. Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro, Xiaomi Mi 11X, Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G
3. Mi 10T 5G, Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro 5G, Xiaomi Mi 10 5G
However, this is a much longer list of Chinese smartphone models and it is worth noting that they are just a list of devices as some of them have global smartphones with similar and similarly different names and they are not in the list above.
